Yes its a scam and received call at my place of employment and supervisor cursed them out, DEFINITELY a scam and phone call was recorded after being told. Serious echo on their end and address is not in NYC. Call was being ported through a cell tower in NYC.
Sent complaint again to FBI- Which probably wont be followed up and be careful with these a##holes. they're phishing your credit reports as well.So what so good about this not a damn thing and no one does squat.
This person "Chin Watson" is suppose to be a agent from the federal government in the IRS. This rude and disrespectful guy with a foreign accent goes on to tell me that I have a case against my name for outstanding loan accounts. I kindly explained to "Chin" that I do not have any loans in my name, never have, and do not owe any person or institution money. Chin (rude man) goes on to tell me that I need to pay for the loans against my name and that the police are going to arrest me. I asked Chin for the federal case number, and the bureau or unit he works? Chin then got very belligerent and started to use profanity. I asked Mr. Disrespectful Rude Man "Chin" to not call my phone ever again, and if this case against me has merit I will see him in court or the jail house after I am detained. Chin hung the phone up.
Received a recorded call from a Danny Foster with the FBI or some other organization in NY and said that I needed to call 718.977.5955 back or legal action would be taken against me. Really! The accent definitely wasn't New Yorker and was from somewhere besides USA.
