These random SPAM calls are making me physically sick. If we can put a man on the moon, WHY can't you stop this?

Whenever I get a spam call, or a solicitor, etc - I create a contact in my phone with the name "dont answer". I just keep adding the phone numbers to this contact. In some cases the pesky solicitor calls multiple times, and this helps me see quickly that I shouldn't answer the call. :) I agree with everyone here - these things are annoying as &#@*!!
Received a call but I did not answer. I simply do not answer my phone if I do not recognize the number. If it is important they will leave a message that you can then verify before calling back. I've now blocked this number also along with many many others.
Got a call from this number (one of I can't begin to count how many of these types of calls). I answered and you can hear the typical delay before you are connected to the scam. The fact that it comes from Florence, CO (of course, not really.....this is typical spoofed number). Like 'PC' said above, you can't call the number back which is a hallmark of these fake/spoofed robocalls. I'd change my phone number except that: a) I really need my number since it is a key contact number, and b) these predators used random, computer-generated dialing so that very likely would find my again anyway. These calls are a bit like water torture; I get an average of 1-3 of these calls virtually EVERY day, 7 days a week. I must have blocked well over 100 numbers at this point.
