I made the mistake of answering this call. However, I got a lot of information about them and I have filed a complaint with the CO Attorney General who was aware of these scumbags. They are an unlicensed collection agency in Boulder, CO who apparently buy lists of people from Payday loan websites. If you would like to file a complaint and see if we can get these people stopped, go to this website and follow instructions, www.coloradoattorneygeneral.gov/complaint. The AG office encouraged me to do so and assured me they would investigate and get back to me with the results. Would like nothing better than to see these scammers stopped.
Just got a second call from this number different guy same script. I answered and knew it was a scam when he told me that felony charges were pending due to a debt in Texas. If you are going to try to scam someone in law enforcement you should maybe do your homework on local laws. Reported to CO authorities.
