Who called from 7202237274

I received the same identical fax as described in the previous message from Tee, with the exception that the person stated "My name is James Johnson", also requesting meals for 250 people.  The fax originated from 1-909-539-0646.

I just received a fax today too - same kind of thing - they seem to know what kind of business i am in, and they asked to send me (in very poor english) to provide wine for an event (i am in wine business). Indicated they would pick it up at 3pm on day of event. Asked what credit cards i take. And here is the funny thing - even though this guy said he was hearing impaired, he insisted on having my cell number so he can call me...What???

Has SCAM written all over it.

The fax I received is about a Cadillac Escalade in CA, I am in Indiana.  The person, Edward Johnson with email address [email protected], is requesting brake work and general services for his mum's vehicle.  He provides the same VIN from above. He states his car is at a towing facility in CA where the accident happened.  I guess they are expecting someone to give the tow company a credit card number to pay for the tow with a promise to reimburse the charge with the repairs.  The english on the fax is terrible.  I can't believe anyone would fall for this scam, but it is even more unbelieveable that someone would even try it.  Please watch out!!!

"edward johnson" faxed me too for food for 250 peoples. These faxes are credit card scams. If you have the time to mess with these people what i do is act like i want the order then get all the (STOLEN) credit card info from them. Get the bank name on the card(Chase, Capital One, etc).Once you have the bank name you can call there 800 number tell them you have a fraud in process and they will contact the true cardholder so a stop can be made on the card.
I have saved a few people from this fraud.
