i have received these calls before they were trying to locate me for a collection agency about a 10 year old verizon phone bill. this bill was bought by another company after i told the first company that they could no longer contact me. i told this company the same thing i am going to be filing my legal suit to collect my 1000.00 dollars that i am entitled to thanks to the fair debt collection practices act. which anyone can read through it is located on the FTC's website http://www.ftc.gov/enforcement/rules/rulemaki ... ctices-act-text
Do not answer this call. It's all a scam. They go by National Locating Corporation or LTS Associates. Threaten you with legal suit and none of it's true. See numbers under 844 area code for this company. I've already reported them to the FTS and I will continue to post what they are doing since they continue to call from different numbers. Research and you will find they are fake, make up debt you never had, and try to steal your money and information.
Just got a call from this number. The guy didn't get halfway thru hit first sentence and hung up!!! If I block the number, they will just call from a different number!!! It's absolutely ridiculous!!!!!
Received call from this number from female claiming my number was a contact number given by a person that I do know. Representing LTS & Associates a National Locating Corp looking for this person for some urgent legal problem. Wanted his phone number and did not get to far with me. I challenged her approach and asked for a number to verify her and the company. She was cool and confident and gave me phone number 844-882-4631. I already knew this scam company called my friend a year ago and told him he was being sued and wanted his personal info and when he refused they told him they would see him in court. Lawsuits are served in person not on a phone.
The very next day after speaking with me, they called my friend again attempting the same high pressured intimidation attempting to get personal info and a credit card payment to stop the legal action against him. They hung up on him after he challenged them.
