I received a call today. The caller's name was "J Hamilton" but they did not leave a message. I called the number after reading these posts and it was the same national locator service.
I rec'd a call similar to two of the comments from the phone # 720-242-5689. It's annoying.
I don't know if they recorded the call or not but right about at the 'minute' mark, they hung up.
They need to find better use of their time...like picking up trash on the side of the road.
PLEASE people, DO NOT ANSWER YOUR PHONE FOR NUMBERS YOU DO NOT RECOGNIZE!!!!. these scumbags aren't really where they say they are. the origins have been traced to central america.there was a big expose on the news last week.if you answer they can tap into everything!!! people have lost so much money due to their scare tactics. fight them by being silent and report the number to the appropriate agency. real funny, i didn't answer and they didn't leave a message!!!
Got a call from this number an hr ago. A female said her name was Megan Thomas and I was listed as a point of contact for a person I know saying she needed me to contact them with a case number and have them call her. Except she butchered the pronunciation, didn't know my friends gender, and had the wrong spelling. I told her I don't know him any more. She responded by saying she would update the information. I contacted my friend to see what was up and we discovered this site. People are such assmonkeys!
