I just received a call from an aurora number he said his name was mark and he was with stanley and assoc law firm and that i owed 1100 for over draft fee from us bank from 2008
i had an account there but never an overdraft he went on to say that when i closed my account there was a bill out there that came in to my closed account and that it reopened my account
WHAT? I thought you couldn't close your account until everything came in and I never heard of an outstanding bill reopened your account.
I said this is the first time i have heard of this debt. He said they have sent out letters to my residences they have on file
he said they wouldn't send me any documents with my signature on it but that they would send me documents just like the one i signed
i just happen to do a phone number look up and found all this out
