So this can't be a random robo call how could I come up 18 times in the last 3 weeks - I get the same thing - ask them to not call and they flip out and hang up on you - same crap from some number in Cambridge, MA as well - unfortunately my companies copr office is in Cambridge - I let it go to vm but seriously are there people out there that fall for this junk - I mean their message starts out with
you must have at least 3000 in debt blah blah blah
Someone has called numerous times with a voice recording about your credit card. They ask you to press 1 to speak to a live person. When I do, I respectfully request to be removed from their phone list and they just hang up.
They call at 7 am each day and continue to do so after being advised I'm on the Do Not Call Registry and after being asked to please remove me from their calling list. They appear to be scammers uninterested in following the Do Not Call Protocol or legally allowed calling hours!
These clowns have more nerve than a raw tooth. They start out by making illegal phone calls -- to the same numbers every day, week after week, month after month, year after year. The harassment factor is bad enough. But the real crime is fraud, pretending to be the victim's credit card company, and their intent is identity theft. If all that wasn't bad enough, they have the NERVE to expect the victim to stay on hold endlessly, listening to loud bad scratchy "music," while all their thieves are busy with other victims. Unbelievable. Come on phone companies, do the right thing and block these numbers, FREE, for your paying customers.
