FaxHalt is a spammer. Their calls come from multiple numbers and when answered it plays a "recorded" beep. It is not a real fax transmittal. Their website is a scam. It is NOT connected to the Do Not Call Registry. Think about it: why would a private company do this for you for free? They wouldn't. They want you to enter your phone number, because when you do, it verifies a working number. Furthermore, why would the company that's supposed to stop the unwanted faxes be the company making the unwanted calls? Duh!
You have harrassed me for months-from midnight to 4am in the morning. I am on a federal no-call list I have asked you before stop it now. or be prosecuted. I am not interested in your robo-beeps-or I will send you the Dr bills for the stress.
Yes, people do make the occasional mistake when they send a fax, or even when they make a phone call. But why are there a number of people on this list complaining about these faxes from this and other similar 720 number? Are these legitimate faxes that these people were expecting? Or is it simply a 'fax-blast' hoping to hook someone into engaging that they don't want to be bothered with? Why is this fax number calling my cellphone? My cellphone is not a fax machine. Me thinks this is nothing more than robo-calling lots and lots numbers in hopes of getting a response from someone. Why should I have to remove my number from the list when I didn't want it on there in the first place? Sounds kind of shady to me.
