Recieved a call from this number. 4 times in one day. I am the owner and I told them all solications needed to be in writing and mailed to office. They would not take no for an answer. I told them I would never give them any information over the phone and I would have my lawyer contact them. They hung up. We will see if they call again.
I had just walked in the door after a looong day and the phone was ringing. Dashed over to answer it and GUESS who it was??? CRESCENT in all the friggin glory. I picked up the phone and said, "QUIT CALLING MY F***ing house" and hung up. People working to earn money or not and say that that is their job....OMG, do you people want someone calling you at all hours???????????? This is such an invasion of privacy and the government doesn't give a rats a$$. All they care about is their mighty dollar..... Makes you just want to unhook the phone for good and go back to pen and paper. Thanks all for listening to me rant....
They're still at it. I just received my third call in four weeks and probably the 10th since they got my phone number . Each time I've told them my business closed over 5 years ago and the number is on the Do Not Call Registry. Each time they've said they'll remove it and of course they don't. One week later it's another phone call. I've filed complaints at the Do Not Call Registry, but that hasn't done any good either. The new ploy is they "have a rep in your area and are calling to confirm you'll be open between 9 and 5 so he can stop by." I'm so sick of these annoying people I finally decided to meet the rep and see if he (or she) could get them to stop. Told them since I'm a consultant I can't have vendors showing up at client offices so could they mail me information on the company (which of course I would provide to the Do Not Call people). Surprise surprise, nope can't do that because "all pricing is customized". I then suggested we meet at a public location close to my business and was told "they used to do that, but now they don't." By playing along, I was able to get a web address and the full name of the company. It's Crescent Processing Company and the web site is www.crescentprocessing.com. Maybe if they are flooded with emails and phone calls from all the people they annoy they'll get the idea. Contacting them through their site is a waste of time, you'll get switched from Client Services to Activation back to Client Services; however a search on their name brings up the BBB of Dallas/N. Texas and they list (877) 233-3376 ext 8083
as the phone number and 12700 Park Central Drive, Suite 1100, Dallas, TX 75251-1541 as the address. There have been some big judgements agains companies violating the do not call registry--guess my next step is to provide the corporate address to a process server :)
Caller Id says 'Crescent'. Asked for owner of the business and said he is not available and asked to take a message. Before I could even finish the sentence they replied, "No I will be calling back later". Greatttt....

Asked for the owner. My husband is the owner and I said he wasn't in even though he was. I hung up as she was saying "Thank you". People like this hang up on me all the time. Time for payback. Caller ID showed Crescent.
