I actually had to purchase phones that block more than 100 numbers. Most of these numbers are spoofed. I get calls from the number "1", as well. NOBODY has that phone number! The do not call registry is not working as it should. I gave up reporting all of these kooks a LONG time ago as it was way too time consuming to do so. Besides, how would they even go about investigating spoofed numbers. That's an FBI and FCC issue and I don't think it's on their list of priorities.
I have two of these blockers, so far 378 numbers blocked, 722 idiot calls including 52 from phone number "1" - 12 of which were made in one day, all since 5/2/13.
On Tuesday 5/12/2015 T 3:11PM received a call from "720 506-2909 CONTACT CENTER"
Just another spoofed number Bogus call. After three rings they disconnected. I did not answer the phone!! I've already reported them!
earlier on 5/12/2015 at 1:49PM received a call that shows "OUT OF AREA 1" another bogus caller who want to hide!! The number "1 OUT OF AREA" is often used many times before these scammers use! after only 1 ring they disconnected.
