Got this call from the IRS and wanted to talk to my wife I told him not to call my number anymore and they are going to turn me in to the Attorney General. Told them fine and don't call back.
After going to the IRS office myself, there is a Bill of Rights on the IRS website that specifies exactly what they will and will not do, phone calls is the first red flag. The IRS will never call you asking for money. See the website below directly from them:
Used to get call from another number that said that same stuff now I get it from this number now so I spent the day calling them to see how they liked it lol its a cell phone number cause you can text them too so I sent then over 100 text lol if we all call them back again and again they might get the hint and move on
Bad idea-do not engage the scammers. Playing their game by their rules on their turf you'll never win. At the very least you'll get more calls. Or they could "swat" (look up swatting) you. Also if you stoop to their level, what do that say about you?
Have been receiving phone calls two or three times daily. Very annoying. I do not answer calls I don;t know numbers, but this one even leaves messages. Says are from IRS. I haven't received any notice in the mail. So figure this is a scam. But would like stopped asap.
