Got this call from the IRS and wanted to talk to my wife I told him not to call my number anymore and they are going to turn me in to the Attorney General. Told them fine and don't call back.
I guess I've been lucky. This is only my second call from these scammers. We received a recorded message from the "IRS" telling us to return the call at 720-550-4111 and ask for Nancy Smith. We did this (just to play along to see if they would ask for personal information) but the person who answered spoke with a heavy accent and my husband could not understand a word they said. My husband repeatedly told him he couldn't understand him and asked him to put someone else on the line who could speak better English. At this point they hung up on my husband.
Automated call from "IRS" stating error in last year's taxes I filed. IRS will not have an automated machine call anybody. Called them back and called the guy out and he hung up on me then blocked my number so now I hear a message saying "check the number and dial again". Don't fall for this SCAM people!
