Have been so inundated with telemarketing calls today that I answered this one. Said hello four times (in a mad tone, I must say!) before someone responded. Female voice said "how are you today?" I responded "good, take me off your call list, please," and hung up. Hopefully this will work. SOOO sick of these unwanted calls and am at my maximum ONE HUNDRED blocked numbers, all telemarketing numbers. It's insane!!
This phone number indicated it was from Colorado. I said hello twice before I heard a voice. It sounded like a computer generated female voice. She said she was from a breast cancer organization. This call made me furious because I know first hand the horribleness of cancer. This is a scam. I am reporting them to the FCC because I am already on the Do Not Call list.
The caller ID showed Breast Cancer. I picked up the phone and didn't say anything. Guess they were waiting for me to say hello before it would connect me to one of their drones. Since they didn't want to talk first I just put the phone down and went back to what I was doing which was much more important. Went back about a half hour later and it sounded like they were still connected. I left it off the hook for about an hour before I had leave. If it was still connected for that hour then at least that line was tied up so they couldn't bug anyone else. Probably wasn't but there is some satisfaction in that thought.

I'm located in Massachusetts.
I don't pick up my phone unless it's someone I know. Call went to voice mail. No msg left by scam artist. Caller ID blocked. Hope this helps. Thank you to all that post on 800notes.Com.
I appreciate each and every one of your posts. It speeds up my information as to block calls or not. The faster I block them, the faster I can get back to what I was doing. ☺ Have a great day!
To beyond fed up, no one legitimate calls anymore. I remember back in the day we would get maybe one or 2 calls a weeks from a legitimate company. They create the DNC, get all out numbers, sell them, and we are bombarded with calls.
I took my cell and home off 2 years ago, calls have gone way down since, at least i dont get them every day like i used to. A lot less.
