I received a phone call from 727-572-8822, and it was someone named Denise, and she wanted me to call a different number: 888-918-7313, purportedly about some potential fraud going on with my debit card. It is Sunday, so I cannot contact my credit union to confirm this is legitimate. I called my son, who works at a bank, and he said it sounded fishy to him.
Will find out tomorrow when I go to my credit union. Very suspicious about this call.
This is a legitimate service. Our Credit Union uses this company based in St. Petersburg, FLA as security for our Visa card. I was hesitant to call them back as well but I did and I'm glad. Someone had stolen my Visa and the service was attempting to notify me and stop the charges. Once I verified that this was a legitimate company they stopped the card and are issuing a new one. I too was suspicious but in this one case it was a reputable company........

I'm no sure why so many people are having different experiences with this number, but mine was legit.
I received a call from this number and ignored it, listened to the voicemail left (which said they were calling for a routine security check), then I checked my online bank account. There WAS a fraudulent charge. I called my bank directly (not the number left on my voicemail) and they connected me with the fraud department. I asked the fraud department of Vantage West Credit Union specifically if this number IS one that they use and they said "Yes".
