Editing last post threatened me with jail saying If I already have a criminal defense attorney to defend me because I have committed criminal offense against the IRS
Claimed he was an officer with the IRS. Heavy accent. Asked for me by a maiden name. I knew about the scam, so I started laughing & told him "it's a scam & you know it!" He started laughing & I hung up. Feel sorry for those that listen & follow directions.
Called me about a 1/2 hour ago and I got recorded message about being put in jail etc. I immediately looked up number and they just called back again - I told them "I looked up your number and I know this is a scam, Goodbye !!"
A foreign speaking man claiming he's from the IRS left a voicemail saying I needed to call 727-756-5201 back because IRS had filed a lawsuit against me for tax fraud or evasion. And, this was a time sensitive matter. Just got another call from an Officer Shirley Adams claiming she's from the IRS stating the same thing. Wanted to know if I fill out my taxes or someone else fills them out for me. Also, wanted to know the name of my criminal attorney. Wanted me to verify my home address. I hung up.
