Same as others got a call saying it was my final notice I need to call back the number a lawsuit out in my name I call back and this guy with a heavy accent said she IRS sounds like a call center he tells me I owe 7 thousand and ask why I didn't pay it ask if I had a lawyer gave me his fake badge number toro to put fear in me so I can pay them what a scam it is a shame i hung up some else called me acting like police officer telling he was coming to my house unless I go get a money gram at the store I told him it was scam he cursed me and hung up. I reported them and was told it the biggest scam in 2015 everybody should report them so they put a stop to this 1800 366 4484 inspectors general or call the FBI every call helps warn others.
This is a scam. Caller identifed himself as a Officer Kevin Reed, Badge Number 13390, Employee Code 9168. Had a foreign accent. Sounded like he was calling from a telemarketing center. Claimed IRS has criminal case resulting from tax audit and attempted to notify twice in person and now a criminal proceeding was scheduled for this very day.
got the exact same message on my answering machine. I did not pick up and I WILL BLOCK THIS SCAM NUMBER. Thanks for the transcript. IRS does not call. They send letters. I called the IRS the last time I got an IRS scam call and they verified IRS does not call.
