Yes because they are simply not as smart as you would like them to be. Obviously you have an IQ in the stratosphere and expect everyone else to also. People come from all walks of life and all different backgrounds. Some people simply do not get the education they need and fall for these con men. Least we not forget also that these con men have their pitch down perfect so it is not an easy task to avoid them. So shall we put the blame where the blame is supposed to be? With the criminal. Just like people who get murdered are not to blame or women who get raped are not to blame. It is the criminal's fault.
This is a phishing scam. I answered and the robocall asked if I wanted a lower rate then to press 1. Some guys aswered and asked for my information. Gave him made up stuff to see what he knew... Be careful!!
