I too got a call from this number. Told me that I owed back taxes, that I needed to show up at an IRS office and said there was a warrant for my arrest. Said that someone would show up in 45 min to arrest me. I have friends who are with the US Attorneys office and they said that they would never arrest in this manner.
I haven't done that yet but I did call my local sheriffs office and he told me not to do anything unless they could prove it was legit but he said sounds like a scam to him. the guy has called me back several times since then and has told me that he is now gonna call my job so they can be aware of all the fraud charges that I have pending and it would have been in my best interest to have paid these, he says now that I will be responsible in paying all fees which will add up to about 8 thousand dollars not to mention the time I will be spending in jail/prison for 17 charges that have now been filed against me.
this man Adrian gates is calling me with saying I am going to be arrested if I don't pay a debit and it is making me scared saying I would be picked up from my job very nerve wrecking
Received 2 threatening messages to call back this number. I called back and asked for my number to be removed from their calling lists, and the person on the other end continued to threaten.
Got a call from Kevin smith. He said he was a lawyer. Not to give his number to anyone. He said the sheriff would be at my house tomorrow to arrest me for five charges. The amount was $743.42 that I was supposed to owe. He would not give me the name of the payday loan company. He said I had to pay the entire balance today. I checked his number and found it was a scan.
