I only have a cell phone for when I am in my car in case I break down. I leave it on with the ringer turned off to harvest more numbers to add to the call block list on my land line. The do not call list is useless. Laws are only good for people who obey the law. Robo-calls are illegal in my state except for political campaigns. I bought a Panasonic KXTG6841B phone that blocks up to 250 numbers. It has reduced the scam calls.
Received a call from this Tennessee number, thinking at first it might be a relative there. Instead it was a robocall attempting to sell me a free life alert system AFTER I expressly informed their agent 4 days ago that I never expressed interest anywere in such a system and that under the Telephone Consumer Protection Act, their call was illegal and that I intended to prosecute if they called me again. I directed them to put me on their "Do Not Call List" yet another one of their Robocalls came through today. I was not able to speak to a live agent as their system dropped my call after the Robocall solicitation. A call back to their Tennessee number at 731-689-0980 produced nothing but a busy signal after repeated attempts. This does appear to be a Crooked organization. I will make FTC report and follow their guidelines to not answer, keeping list of their number (and other robocallers / scammers) by my phone for reference.
731 689-0890 Caller ID was "Tennessee Call" One more in a long string of calls from scumbag human sewage using robo dialers. Straight to my big red button call blocker list.
This site REALLY NEEDS TO ADD "SCUMBAG" or at least Fraud Spoofed or Faked Caller ID to the "Call Type" list, nothing on the current list really matches the kind of trash doing the calling.
