I got a call from this number on my cell phone. I hit the wrong spot and disconnected the call before I could hear who it was as I was getting my dog his lunch. At first at a glance, I thought I had disconnected a friend in Seattle until I searched this number. I can see I disconnected a no good call.
I do have a best friend and know some people in Nashville but do not know anyone in Jackson or the SE Tennessee, including Memphis.
Further more I NEVER give my cell phone # to ANYONE but oersonal friends. After reading the posts, I can see this is yet another number I have to give to my Call Control app to block from getting their calls again. I get beseuged with calls saying..."Hello this is Heather from YOUR creadit card services...blah, blah, blah..." when I have no credit cards thus I have no "credit card services".
All these spam & scam calls get so frustrating!
This site really does need to add a scam option. Most of these kinds of calls are trying to get personal information from the person who receives the call.... which is a blatant attempt for Identity Theft.
Some of these people have a program that calls numbers at random to see if it is a working number. People should NEVER try calling them back as it lets them know that there is a person attached to the number and they will dig for identity and information on said person.
I never use any of the options like telemarketer because it will reflect someone just trying to sell a person something.
The closest option to scam/spam is Prank. Then up by the Caller, it's usually a phone number (which I put) and behind it I type scam/spam so people will see it and know.
