I am supposed to go to this interview tomorrow, as well.  Funny how we are all looking for jobs and this "company" is calling just about everyone's # they can come across, especially w/ how the economy is.  It's a shame how ppl can do this to other ppl in their extreme need for jobs. I smell bullsh*t, and am definitely NOT attending tomorrow!  Thank u everyone!!!  Any company that doesn't have a legite website, don't waste your time!  Tomorrow, I am visiting a recruiter instead...at least they can assist in job hunting (and have legitimate websites!) Glad I did this search!  Good luck to you all!

I cannot believe this...I was so anxious about going on this interview.  I even ask the caller (Sunita) the salary range because I didn't want to waste their time nor mine.  She stated that the salary was 40K plus.  I was okay with that and scheduled an appointment for Wednesday at 10 am.  She stated to be prepared to stay a minimum of one hour.  She gave me a website ([email protected]) I wanted to know more about the company and the direction on how to get there, however, I could not find it so I decided to put the phone number in Google (732-225-6190).  All of a sudden I saw this thread.  Thanks to all who have who started and replied to this thread.  I will not be going on Wednesday @ 10 am nor will I give a courtesy call to let her know that I am not coming.

I got the call, went to the interview and everything went fine. Yes it is an insurance company, and yes it is sales. I just don't understand why there are such ignorant people in this world. What's so bad about sales??? you make as much as you wanna make. you're not renting yourself out for certain amount of Money. I guess people got a lazy mentality. Any kind of sales job is for individuals who want to be in control of what they make. Personally I'd rather make more money for working hard than others, rather than work hard and get paid the same amount of money as someone who doesn't work as hard as me.

group interviews are the biggest cons for salesman b/c they get a bunch of people in, try to sell to your family first (make you sell to your own family... usually 1 or 2 people in the group of 10 will sell) and then MAYBE one or two people last and the rest quit upset... the people who last are either really good at conning as well or end up quitting after wasting their time.

then they mass spam for another group interview, get 1 or 2 people to sell to their families, if they get lucky to another individual outside of their family... and then rinse and repeat.

so again, how much you making?
