I got the same call on my cell phone number some recording saying my account was compromised by a third party and if I did not re-activate the account it would be terminated.
Call received from 1-732-276-1300 at 6:21 AM on 04/12/09. A recording identifying itself as Max Federal Credit Union and claimed that my account had been suspended for unusual activity. As I neither have an account at Max nor have I ever lived in New Jersey (area code 732), I hung up. This is the second such call I've received. The first call came from 1-817-480-9293 at 6:24 PM on 04/04/09. The recording at that time was identical.
