...and this number called and left some one word auto message that I couldn't understand. Do not give your cell number to verizon cable if you use them.
I am receiving the same calls. I gave my cell number as a contact number whenI placed a repair order with Verizon for my home phone. The repairs are completed, I am now getting 2-3 calls a day with a 2 second, clipped voicemail left. I live in DC
It's still going on. I just had Verizon installed yesterday. I've been called from this number 3 times. I was not available to answer any of the three times and the caller left no message. This is annoying.
maybe these strange calls are connected to the Verizon strike? My landline had been down all weekend because of an "area outage." The automatic service said it would be working by 10 PM Sunday. Guess what? It came back on right at 10 PM. The service asked if I wanted to be called when it was working again. I said yes and gave them my Verizon cell #. They said they would try to call me. Well, I did get two 1 second inaudible messages today lol.
