This is the number for Schlessinger Associates.  They are a research firm -- they pay you for market research.  They would only call you if you registered with them.

I heard them say "HI .. " then my name, then I could barely hear anything ...sounded like someone purposely whispering ... and honestly it was a little scary.

I had registered with Schlessinger Associates, this is indeed the # that shows up when you get a call from them.

This is from their Edison office on Parsonage Road, near Menlo Park Mall.

That is not true. We didn't register and they called us. When asked if we could call them back, they hung up
