This is the number for Schlessinger Associates. They are a research firm -- they pay you for market research. They would only call you if you registered with them.
Maybe you had a bad connection. When they called me they left a very clear message that they wanted me to be a part of a survey that I registered for. Totally legitimate.
This Number is definetely Schlesinger, and this company is totally legitimate..I did register with them a while back and did a music survey that took me 45 minutes and they sent me a check for 50 bux. Now every once in a while they give me calls and leave messages with other survey that are in my area.
I HAVE NEVER EVER GIVEN MY CELL PHONE NUMBER OUT TO THIS COMPANY NOR HAS ANYONE ELSE GIVEN IT> THEY ARE TOTALLY SPAMMING NUMBERS AND I HAVE ASKED THEM NOT TO CALL ME AND THEY CONTINUE TO CALL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! MY CELL PHONE IS NEVER GIVEN OUT I HAVE A HOME PHONE STILL
as my 'name' appears above, I never registered with the Schlesinger group; however, their voice mail indicated they were calling on behalf of TIAA/CREF - which happens to be my retirement plan people lol.. The person who left the message, was very pleasant/polite/professional and said they would pay 100 to 125 for attending the survey in NYC on 1/9/13. Left me her name & number w/ extention to call if I had any further questions/concerns or was interested in attending. I won't be calling because I won't be in attendance lol
I got a got a call and didn't recognize the number, but it was from Schlesinger Assc. and I've done about four focus groups for them over the years and have been paid for them. Totally legit.
