Got a call from this number on 2-27-16. Asked for my wife by name. I asked who was calling, male caller said he was her boyfriend. I told him that I was her husband. He said, "well that's the kind of [***] she is" and hung up.
I get the feeling they are trolling for single women. Perhaps to see if they have security systems on their homes. Connecting the dots doesn't paint a rosy picture.
It is called spoofing. Someone steals your number and makes it appear as you are calling when you are not. This was my number and I had to change it after 2.5 weeks of receiving hundreds of calls daily. It's very sad what people will do to obtain someone's credit card information. I want to thank all of those who left very nice messages ;-)
Same here...just got the call from 734-552-8643 on my landline but was on another call and didn't answer. Just looked it up for the comments here and I have now blocked the number. Love call blocking!
Called said Michigan on CID.. Foreign voice said we were not using our long distanice.??? Could lower our rate. Not interested hung up......blocked it. Scammer.
