i found out they are foreigners who have all voter details and are spoofing caller ids harassing americans. they are also using our details to donate money to their candidate. i will be reporting this to the authorities. i just need the person that told me to send me the proof of this statement. they are harassing us and the only party that has our details is the voting registrar.
Received a call today from a woman saying my security system was outdated. She asked several questions and each time I replied with a stupid answer. She finally hung up on me. I get several of these ignorant calls a day but I'm retired and can take up their time. My concern is some older people might fall for these scams and lose a lot of money.
At the rate these scam calls are happening daily, even 250 numbers won't last long. I get at least 2 or more calls a day that I block (I do not answer of course). But it's getting ridiculous. Calls at 7 a.m., some at 5 a.m., they don't care. And I am on the do not call list, and they ignore it.
734-552-8643 being used in tandem with 816 606-4204 "Many" Valvarde, virtually the same scam as described by all others. Difference was that she was asking for name of my current monitoring company. Could be an attempt to then try to penetrate or manipulate the monitoring company's records or systems, using whatever personal information they have on the household. I have a cell provider and a home number provider so either might be the source of the personal name records they are using. Or simply some form of city directory. Cannot possibly be a legitimate sales call.
