Dawn Rivers left me a message from this number regarding a personal business matter. I called back and it is a company called R&B Corporation. I have no idea why they would have called me so I told them I called the wrong # and hung up. I can't find anything on this company online - does anyone have any more information about them.
R & B Corporation is a collection agency usually associated with unpaid medical bills. Call them back to make sure you don not have anything outstanding under your name. It could damage your credit or it could be a mistake. Definately don't blow it off like it is nothing!
I followed up and it is true, apprantly I had overlooked part of my medical bills from last April.

That being said all collection agencies are required by federal law to send a written statement via mail. Failure to do so will end with them being penalized. If you receive a debt collection from anyone respond with certified mail stating you do or don't owe them. It might be something you have never done business with but failure to respond can be devastating to your credit.
