Accidentally pick up the phone without looking at caller ID. Sure enough it was the computer virus scam. I told him that my husband has my computer at work and he should call him. He enthusiastically said he would call him. I gave him the number for the police department and to ask for Mr. BOLO. I have done this in the past and the calls decreased from about 11 a day to about 1 a week.
Got a call, I picked up, caller said they detected a problem with my computer. I said OK thanks for letting me know, then said I will throw it in the ocean. They never called back.
I received FOUR calls from this number. 2 back to back at 1:51 PM and then 2 back to back calls right afterward, at 1:52 PM. Fortunately, I was out of the house when these four calls came in. I'd disabled my voice mail just before I left my home so that any A-hole pests, which I automatically KNEW would be calling as this is a constant, all-day long, everyday annoyance, so that any of them would inevitably call while I was out they wouldn't have been able to leave a message on my voice mail and I also disabled my telephone from ringing so that my son would not be disturbed with the phone ringing from all the "Unavailable" telephone numbers. This country can see a fly on a piece of dog dung, far off, hundreds and thousands of miles away in another country while spying on us as we watch TV, surf the Internet, talk on our telephone and cell phones, or go about our business of everyday living, but won't do anything to help the taxpayers of America to be provided with a true and real way of being kept from these uninvited, annoying calls from these pests and pains in the rear.
