Thank You Very Much to everyone who has posted about these scammers.
I was about to be sucked into this scammer if I had not looked at this website.
Scammer on the other hand sounded so convincing by telling me that all of my cars repairs will be covered without raising my deductible or monthly payment even after I have told them that I am still driving my 1995 ford taurus with over 400,000 miles on it.
Scammer wanted me to purchase their delux plan with $50 per month, and my deductible would be around $5,280 per year.
In the area where I live, no dealership, or mechanic, would sell me warranty on my 1995 ford taurus with over 400,000 miles. Instead they would tell me to go and buy a vehicle that is at least a year 2000 or newer.
Here is scammer's information as it showed up on my mobile phone caller ID:
Name : No Name
Phone Number : 1-760-620-0089
Date : December / 28 / 2015
Time : 3:33 P.M ( E.S.T )
Received call today...didn't recognize the number, so I didn't answer. They didn't leave a message. After checking some sites, I realized this is a telemarketer.
I, too, am on the federal do not call list. Apparently that didn't work, so I blocked the number on my phone.
Answered call. Said it was Sue calling for my Toyota. I do not have a Toyota. Said they could cover my car that I drive now. Said all I need do is give them some personal info and wire them the money up front. They were working for Geico Insurance but outsourced. I just had to wire them the money to make it active immediately.. They said they have offices all over the world. This office was in Nigeria. LOL
They find ways around the do not call list. When I hit the number to be on their do not call list, I immediately got many calls from different numbers. All that does is give them the chance to call with different numbers. I cant block my home phone, but do block cell phones.
