Unfortunately, they can call between the hours of 8am and 9pm and still be within the law. I've had them call me 3 times now (once, twice in a row) asking for Christopher Noley.
Next time they call and threaten you like that, tell them your attorney will be in touch with them, as they are violating the Fair Debt Collection Practice Act, which is a federal law, and they will be sued, including the caller. They are out of Norcross, GA.
I have been repeatedly called by Stuart Law Group, LLC, 770-417-1884, which I do not answer. Then yesterday I received a notice stating Stuart Law Group is collecting $25. for Redflex Traffic Systems, which is a total scam because first of all I have never received a camera light ticket and also the state of NM did away with these cameras 1 year ago. I am reporting to BBB.
If you have obtained a phone number recently that previously belonged to someone else and you are getting calls, please email or call and explain and your phone number will be removed from the system. Calling the wrong person wastes the time of the person called and the person calling, and we would therefore like to prevent that from happening again.
