they used the same scenario with me TODAY... only saying that my hospital bill was from over 5 years ago. i called my insurance company and the hospital (every billing department there) and as suspected they didn't have any records of anything other than what had a $0 balance,. so yes these people are scammers. Who would i report this to?
Just got a call from this company wanting to speak to the owner of the company I work for says his name was Parkman and he was calling from J D Steward law group had to make him repeat it 3 times as I had a hard time understanding him. Voice was muffeled. Then procedes to tell me the call is recorded. At which time I said ok Thank you I will forward the message. Who are these people? Are they a scam or what? He left a phone number adn extension.
We received a letter from - The J.S. Stuart Law Group, LLC saying they are sueing us because of a past due bill that we do not owe. It was for AT & T and we never used AT & T. They did send us bills back in 2010 but after calling them they said they made the correction and not to pay them. As I said we never used their service. I called the company this morning at 770-263-9682 and they said that we do owe the money we had a contract and we did not cancel it in writing so someone at AT&T misinformed us. I said we never used their service and he said yes you did we will begin litigation. He was rude and insisted we owed the money or they wouldn't have received the file from AT&T so we owe the money. It would not even register in his head that maybe AT&T is wrong. I feel sorry for this guys wife - and what ever happend to the customer is always right - well in this case the customer is AT&T so I suppose he has to go with it. Good luck to them. And as far as that goes - I hope NO ONE EVER does business with AT&T.
They are a collection agency posing as a law firm. Don't talk to them - I half think it's a scam of sorts. He is trying to collect money from us for services we NEVER had.
they are trying to collect money that we dont owe. They said we owe money from at&t advertising solution but if you asked methem for the bill they cannot provide it. We check with at&t and they said we dont owe them money. I calledthe guy name Madision and he cant provide us copy and he hung up on me. This is a hoax
