This is a scam! I worked for court system, they cannot issue a warrant and have you arrested. I have added several of their numbers to the reject list and they continue to call from different numbers. I have reported them to the sheriff's department, attorney general and prosecutors office. Sometimes I answer the phone as attorney general office or sheriff department they soon hang up.
I keep getting calls from this number too and they telling me that I have done check fraud. I said on what credit. There rude and telling me that they will issue a Warrenton for my arrest.

yes I have the exact same experiences, when I ask which courthouse, what division? If these creeps ever let you speak tell them this and the reason they get so abusive they know they will not be able to scam you and they are getting paid. There are guidelines that must be adhered to they these creeps don't follow, they don't keep track of their lies either. Call using the same wording as when they called 6 months ago.
No such word as pre-trial investigations, I also said my father is the chief justice of the state of CA. and please call him he would like to talk you. When they get belligerent and yell I am going to jail. I have prefect credit and I don't owe anyone anything!!!
I have been getting calls for several years regarding a "returned item from your bank" or "check fraud". They claim to be with the US FBI, Homeland Security, etc..... I do not, and never have, owed a payday loan taken over the internet. The calls are intermittent. I will go months with nothing then everyone I know gets calls for ME. I have reported it to the Attorney General (both US and NYS), local police, NYS police, etc.... filed complaints and reported all the numbers. Still they can do nothing. I have tried to block the calls to no avail. If I do not know the number, I don't answer. If I do answer, when I hear the recording start, I hang up. I have instructed anyone who gets a call about me, THEY DO NOT KNOW ME AND NEVER HAVE. Today, it was a recording from the "Litigation Avoidance Department". The callers have screamed at me and harassed me - calling 15 times in 2 mins. The number sometimes comes up local but it in fact is from the West Indies through Atlanta, GA, to NY.
