Received a call from 1-770-770-7701. Caller ID was 'Name Unavailabl'. I gave it the quick pick up and hang up. Checked 800 Notes and blocked this number.
Got a call at 10:55 am from 770-770-7701 that came up as Unknown Name. I didn't answer and no message was left. Glad I read this page and I won't be answering if they call again.
"Hi this is Alisha and I'm calling from____ ______ topography (I think) service"
She also asked who to speak with regarding shipping/mailings. I told her the name (Carol) and she asked to speak with Karen...I corrected her. I asked what it was regarding, letting her know that we are very busy at the moment (we weren't at all). She said her name is Alisha from blah blah blah (yup, got it already Alisha) She said it is regarding shipping and mailings and she asked if we mail out letters/invoices. I told her we mail things all day everyday. She again asked to speak with Karen... I again corrected her and asked what it was regarding. She let me know her name is Alisha from blah blah blah (yup, 3rd time is the charm). I asked her again what its regarding and asked if she was a solicitor... She said she would like to speak with Karen.... I asked her if she was going to answer my question and she said she would call back another time to speak with Karen. I just laughed and said ok and hung up.
That was a great comedic relief to my Friday afternoon!
So I'm pretty sure this is some kind of research company that is paid by the postal service. I went along with her survey and the majority of the questions had to deal with how satisfied I am with shipping through the postal service and if I knew about all the post offered as far as domestic and international shipping goes.. Kinda weird but whatever, post office must be hurting haha..
