I just called and spoke with an Alexis at the Georgia Attorney's General's Office For Consumer Fraud, she advised that anyone
receiving these types of calls should report them to their department. If they receive enough complaints, they will investigate this further.
I would recommend that everyone that receives calls from this number and a Eric Spencer, call and report same to the Georgia Attorney General's Consumer Fraud Department.
I got a message from someone claiming to be from Ashley Morgan associates regarding an fraud action on my San when I googled the company they are real law firm but based in San Antonio focusing on DWI think someone stole a name out of phone book didn't pick and blocking# this is the 3rd call from different "companies" on 3 different days someone must've have sold my number so sick of scammers!!!!
I received a call from this number stating she's investigator for Ashley Morgan [***]
These people violate every law known to man. They say that I owe money to a company
but cant tell me the company. I ask for a bill they say they cant send me one. I ask for
the address she cant provide that because I may be a threat. She says they service a lot of
different clients and she's not sure of the one because her clients own hundreds of companies!!!
I wouldn't dare give them my info or any kind of banking info. If its a legit company there should
be no question to any of the info that you request from them. Like a bill or a address for the company.
Or even the company name of the person that you owe money to. In my personal opinion its a scam.
Every one of your requests she ignored is a VIOLATION of the FDCPA. That should tell you so much about the caller. Give your state attorney general's office a call.
Caller claims to be "Eric Spencer" calling about some type of fraud.
Call appears to operating from a private residence in the Bremen, GA area.
No additional information is provided, no company name, nothing. This definitely appears to be
non-legimate, ignore, do NOT provide any personal information and immediately report to the Consumer Fraud
Bureau of the Georgia State Attorney General's office.
