I got the same phone call. India accent, with a lot of people talking in the background. He indicated that he received warnings from Windows computer. He asked if I was the primary owner. I said , No. He asked to speak with owner, I told him they were at work. Before I could ask for a number, he hung up!!
they called this morning after I've gotten a dozen calls from fund raisers, company in Calif. for the 100th time calling for someone not me, I have arthritis in my knees and this weather is flaring them up so I wasn't in a good mood. I screamed at them to quit calling and hung up. I don't know if she was telling the truth but I called back and it was an India accent. I kept punching numbers and finally got a person who sounded american. She said she was Oxy?? something like that and that their number and name had been hacked and these people in India hacked their phone number and she apologized several times and to assure me it was not their company. So how come it was an Indian accent giving me instructions to punch this number for this ect. 1 for sales 2 for ect 3 for customer service. If she was lying she was doing a good job. I can't even block the number, won't let me.
