Two calls in the last 2 days. Didn't pick up. No message left. Interesting that 800notes has an ad "Need Chimney Experts?" just above where I am writing.
When they say they are a chimney sweep service, I say "Wow, what a coincidence, that's what I do for a living" In fact whenever I get similar calls, I say the same thing Wow, what a Etc. just insert whatever they are offering. Hope it frustrates them.
Got a call from this company asking for my husband. I told them they had the wrong number because I didn't recognize theirs and I don't speak to telemarketers. Next, the guy tried to imply that we were due for chimney maintenance. As if they had worked on our home before. I know for a fact that this is not true as I take care of these types of home projects and not only have I never worked with them, but I had everything taken care of last year when we moved in. I politely, however, said, "ok thank you". Next, he asked, "when will MR. [mylastname] be home?" I said, "I am done with you now" and hung up. Not only is this a scam but it is not executed by a very intelligent person either.
I've been calls from a 774 number, they don't leave a message,so I called, and I got a recording that says Thanks for calling TJ Inc... leave a message, oh I left a message, I'd be very surprised if they ever call me again. I'm sorry to the rest of you who actually spoke to them, because it's a real creepy voice on their machine. I don't like that. Thank You for Letting me post my comment.
