They called again today at 11:29 am, and their call was blocked again by our call blocker. Please see my post of 28 Oct 2015. They need to revise their robocalling software to eliminate numbers which block their calls.
They leave a message. They identify themselves as Big Brother/Big Sister. They want to pick up clothes, extra stuff, etc. They give an 800 number to call if you wish to schedule a pick up. Based on the operator's voice and knowing how BBBS work, I am inclined to believe that it is actually them.
This is the first time that I have heard from them in the last 6 months. FYI, I have never scheduled a pick up with them or anyone else.
I've had calls from them before. They are looking for small household items which is why they didn't take the clothing. I understand why they wouldn't be able to take things they can't use -- it would be an expense/hassle for them to either dispose of it or find a place to donate it.
