We got the exact same "John Pierson" call at 2:23 in the morning. According to my mother, this is not the first call she's received. We are on the Do Not Call registry, so I went right to their website and filed a complaint. Their website is www.donotcall.gov. Complaints can also be filed online with the FCC, though I don't have their address handy.
this is the most aggravating attitude. why dont people answer calls from unknown numbers? what if it is a person in trouble who doesn't have their cell phone. "well i didnt answer because i didnt know the phone number" "why the [***] not? i called like a hundred times" "i didnt recognize the number" "Is it really such an imposition to pick your [***] phone?"

I got two calls from them today, one was so early in the morning that I was still asleep, the other was in the afternoon and i was bust and couldn't get to the phone quick enough. I called it back and got a recording that said "if you would like to be put on our 'do not call list' press 1 now" so I did and got "thank you and please allow 24 hours to have your number on our 'do not call list' " but they never said who they were. I have NO idea! They called on a cell number I almost never use. My main cell number they didn't call on.
just got a call back from the company selling the home security. when i asked them why they were calling me when i am on a do not call list, she replies "we dont call from that list sir"
i will answer the phone every time they call. i love heckling me some unsolicited phone marketers.
the trick is to make them think you are interested, and then make them listen to your far out theories about how monkeys have colonized the moons of saturn, and that we should go back to slavery times to fix the economy. then you flip out on them asking who told them? "and who are you working for. its those goddmaned russians! well you tell Brezhnev that i will take his implant and shove it up lady liberty's [***] if he thinks he is getting MY tomatoes."
they usually hang up before you can get to the end, but hey, a good time is had by all i think.
