Got a call from an east indian guy sayin he was with Windows security and i had errors in my computor that is making it run slow so he took control of my computor and showd me the errors i had and that I needed a Service pack to fix it and I had to fill a online form to activate the service pack and if I take it for 4 year it would cost me 149$ and lifetime 199$. I said i will discuss with my husband and get back to you and he said you can't call me so I will call you tomorrow morning....Ah ah, after seing this post, I am waithing for his call.
Chantal, Service Packs are a FREE download off the Internet. This so-called support company is just a SCAMMER trying to steal from you! Please DO NOT ACCEPT THEIR SERVICES. Do not give them any personal info. TURN OFF your computer immediately and wait for your hubby. Run a reliable antivirus program and check for any new programs loaded in case these thugs have installed spyware! Good Luck.
