I thought I would let you know that my sister in Pa. sent me a prepaid cell phone from cellular one so I could call her. Since I live in Alabama and the phone number for the phone is Pa. it goes into roaming and does not show up on the caller id as the actual number. The number that displays is 781-301-0458. go figure. Cellular one says it is because it is routed through a different carrier. When that shows up on your phone it is a cell phone from cellular one where the person is from somewhere else in the country and out of their normal area.
actually I do have a cell phone it is in my name but it is prepaid for my daughter who is now in Florida. Somebody better not be messing with this phone because it is my lifeline. I will be going to ACS tomorrow with this number..
When I call my land line # with my cell phone - this # comes up on the home phone caller id. My guess is that the cell phone connects to a local network where ever the caller is - then hops onto another network (like Verizon for instance) and the connection goes to and from a box in Massachusetts before ringing your phone.
been gettin calls from this number n would like them to stop calling me, when calling it back the recording say's not in service. I feel it's probably someone tryin to steal id bc anytime u get call's like this is always from someone who steal's identy so b very careful!
