I thought I would let you know that my sister in Pa. sent me a prepaid cell phone from cellular one so I could call her. Since I live in Alabama and the phone number for the phone is Pa. it goes into roaming and does not show up on the caller id as the actual number. The number that displays is 781-301-0458. go figure. Cellular one says it is because it is routed through a different carrier. When that shows up on your phone it is a cell phone from cellular one where the person is from somewhere else in the country and out of their normal area.

My daughter uses her ACS phone (Alaska) from Oregon and this number comes up when she calls my cell phone or my house phone. Why? Her phone isn't this no.
Got acs and running one Verizon phone. Can run 2 networks.Brought to my attention cellular one in this mismatch or mishaps also. Is there anymore companies or corporations using this technique???
