Do NOT deal with debt collectors over the phone! Make them send you bills in the mail with proper documentation, then confirm the debt with the original debtor, NOT the collection agency. This company is sketchy as heck in their business practices. I highly recommend using a call blocker to stop the calls, reporting them via FDCA online forms, then getting a copy of your credit report to make sure no false debts are being reported.
Spammers just don't answer your phone people just make sure you have a good call blocker and they go away it's that simple I never know who called or when they called LOL!!!! A collections agent with Berlin Wheeler called me... told me my home address, then demanded that I verify whether or not I was the correct person before he would get to the point and tell me what the call was about. I had intended to take care of the debt with my next paycheck, but was so creeped out by the way he began the call that I refused to give any payment info over the phone.
Why the hell would you state someone's name and home address BEFORE confirming that you had the right person? You do realize that if it were a wrong number you would have just given my personal information to a complete stranger, which is far worse than admitting to being a collector before verifying? ? To me this is extremely questionable.
