Received call from 786-121-8145. Their first question was "Am I speaking to Janice" and without thinking I said "Yes this is Janice" I hope they don't clip out my "yes" and claim I agreed to purchase anything. I quickly added I didn't need anything and hung up.
Answered as "Mortuary Services". Gal with Mexican accent asked for my wife's name. I yelled " Hey Joe did we get a XXXXX in?" I answered "Yeah she's here, do you have the Coroner's release or attending physicians report?" The lady answered "UH no." I answered "Lady, I can't release the body without it! Who are you, anyway?" She answered " Ah'm fram Med-E-care and wont to hepp har sine up for cov-a-rage." I told her that Lady, It is too late for all these stiffs to sign up for anything!" In her final frustration she asked "Eezz dis a bizzness?" I said "Yea, Mortuary Services!!!" She hung up and hasn't called back since - been 3 days :-) :-)
Got a call from this #. Didn't answer, because I don't answer numbers I don't recognize. No message left. Caller ID showed the number where the name should be. Love the suggestion of answering with police or mortuary services. I may try that. Thanks.
