These companies and the people working for them, get a commission if they get you to say that you'll pay a specific amount of money --- even if you can't fulfill the promise. All they want is to get you on their recording.
And we used to call lawyers "sharks"! I guess we can call these guys "piranhas"!!!!
Okay. They bug the heck out of me. They call my cell, work, home, wife's cell. I have told them to cancel the account, send it to the credit bureau, cause I am not paying. Can we get everyone on board to call 786-217-9720 (or toll free 866-649-3060) and bug the heck out of them. I have called them about 50 times today. I call and they ask for my account number. I do not say anything (usually) I just sit there until they hang up, and then I call right back. While sitting in my office I just keep hitting redial bugging the heck out of them. I am not crazy, but my wife is out of work and I can't pay.
maybe you guys shouldn't run up debt. These people wouldn't be calling you if you were financially responsible. Heaven forbid, they try to get the money that you OWE them. Stop the crying and grow up.
They called me because the USPS damaged my check. Promised to pay. Case closed.
