Said that I had my computer fixed by someone last year and I would get a refund in the amount of $299. Tried to get me to go to my computer to receive the form to fill out. Claimed that he was calling from Liverpool. I asked for a supervisor's number to verify his information. I never had a computer repaired last year so it was very suspect. He also said his name was Mark Hamill.
Yes, I have been getting calls from this number (Foriegn speaking person of course) all last year and now he continues. This is SCAM and we can not do anything about it wich really stinks! They just keep calling and threaten that the Sheriff is coming you will receive court order papers, please give it up. There are to many people out there scaming others to give them your money but have you notice they NEVER say who you owe. All you get is Blah Blah from a law firm and you are in big trouble. Please I had enough of this.
Got a call from this number today. No, I got 3 calls from this number today. I was sleeping (shift worker) so the voice mail got it. Two messages left, but it's difficult to understand the thick accent. Definitely something about a sheriff showing up at my door with papers. He said his name was Steve Johnson from Anderson Law Firm. He doesn't sound like any Steve Johnson I've ever heard :).
He mentioned something about receiving something with my social security number. Wants me to call back. He'll be waiting a long time for that call.
These clowns called me at work!!!! And told a co worker I was in trouble, I called back and I was told I owe $800 . Needless to say I became rude and he lost his cool and began cursing at me. My son and I called back many more times having fun with them.
