Said that I had my computer fixed by someone last year and I would get a refund in the amount of $299. Tried to get me to go to my computer to receive the form to fill out. Claimed that he was calling from Liverpool. I asked for a supervisor's number to verify his information. I never had a computer repaired last year so it was very suspect. He also said his name was Mark Hamill.
Same thing... foreigner calling that I have legal action being taken against me and my social security is under investigation?? Makes no sense... I called the number back to do a little digging and no one answered the phone.
Thank you guys so much. I never received those before and just started getting them. I'm a college student stressing out about school, money and I almost started stressing out about these a-holes calling me. I kinda freaked out so I recorded all the information he said and registered on the National Do Not Call Registry. If they call again I'm reporting their [***]! Thanks again guys and gals!
I have been getting calls from this number (Foreign speaking person of course) all last year and now he continues. This is SCAM and we can not do anything about it which really sucks! They just keep calling and threaten that the Sheriff is coming you will receive court order papers, please give it up. There are to many people out there scamming others to give them your money but have you notice they NEVER say who you owe. All you get is Blah Blah from a law firm and you are in big trouble. Yes I have been receiving this call for two years now and now I am reporting to the FBI
I received a call from a foreign speaking person telling we that I needed to cll him because their was an arrest warrent against my SS # and that the sherrif would be coming to my house to arrest me. First of all unless you are a criminal the sherrif department does not opereate this way. This is a scam and please do not fall for it. Some how they have my cell phone number. If you don't beleive me check it out. When you call them back they will not tell you whatt it is about and they will try to get your personal infomation. Don't give it.
just got a call at my job from these people THE ANDERSON LAW FIRM, told me i was goin to jail. lol Have been dealing with this bull. Got a hold of the state of Texas and reported them. that was last week, so i was asked by lawer to call them back and record them. so iask the nicly to take me off there list he used bad words toward me. i told hime him thats ok i understand (NOT). He told me that he would kill me and all my family and friends, and ask me if i knew soso, told him i did and he told me that he would have us AMERICANS blowen off the map. will this ever END????????? THERE WAS MORE BUT I DO NOT USE THST KIND OF TALK....
