A man called (his name was David) representing Microsoft Corp. He indicated that my computer is being hijacked by some unknown group and Microsoft want to fix issue by means of going into my computer. I THINK IT IS A SCAM.
Received a call and they wanted to have access to my computer because of some type of Windows problem. The man gave me the name Jack Wilson and this number to call him back on. He said he is in Wilmington DE. Sounded like a boiler room phone call, not a tech support office. He had a heavy accent. Strange thing was probably a few minutes before that I had lost my internet connection. When the call came in, it did not show any number on my caller i.d. so I told him I would have to have a number to phone him back on. That's when I started questioning him and he gave me the above information, I don't plan on calling them back.
Calls from this number are a scam to trick you into believing your computer is infected and/or will permanently fail soon and that you should pay them to repair it. Don't believe them. They call from many different numbers, this being one of them. I received a call today from them saying they are from 'Windows' and my computer had sent them 'reports'. Since I repair computers for a living, I knew it was NOT a legitimate call. See more info here:

They called me he said his name was Petter smith. He said he was calling regarding my computer and asked for the wrong person. I told him I had two and he couldn't tell me which one he was calling about, one is under my name and other one is my boss computer. The moment I answere I didn't believe him so I was questioning him, he seemed to be getting aggravated but kept telling me that I should call him back and let him help me, because people could get into my computer. at first he had told me he was receiving errors from my computer.
