They keep calling me saying I was chosen for a government grant of 6700.00$ all I had to do was go to walgreen and I have to use 250$ of my own money and I'll get it back within 5 minutes along with the grant $ I'm no fool
I received a call today; it appeared that the caller is from NY. A lady answered and tried to convinse me that I received a govermental grant of $6700 because I was paying bills on time and bla bla then she called a customer manager who tried to with all means to push to go to walgreen and buy a gift card and make a deposit as free tax then he will give me a tracking number to receive the grant.. He didn't want to hung up and he said he will assist me to make sure I do it right and he said do not tell anybody about it when I go to walgreen .. I felt it was a scam.. First the call was from NY and then Florida. Second the guy is Indian with heavy accent and he's pretending his name is David baker ha ha So stupid ..I told him I need to investigate.. I google the number and I've found all these reports.. I blocked both numbers right away
Said I had been picked for a randomly selected grant for 6,700 dollars just had to go to a Walgreens, CVS, or Walmart and buy a $250 gift card and I would be reimbursed immediately. They even gave me a grant Id number! These people are terrible. They tried the computer scam on me also.
